Jean-Christophe has mentored countless designers and won numerous awards across his career spanning three decades. His energy and passion inspire every day as he continues to drive DD8 forward into new and exciting areas.
Amelia has been committed to the art of visual communication for over 20 years. From picking up her first camera at 14, to balancing large-scale production jobs, Amelia’s experience has spanned across agency producing, reality TV, long-form filmmaking, and managing high end post production and design. Amelia’s approachable and no-drama attitude, paired with her ability to be adaptable yet detail oriented in everything she does, make her the perfect fit to oversee the fun and frantic space that is DD8.
Leigh Newman is a one of a kind creative director. He is more than a creative strategist. He has a deep knowledge of technology and understands its vital relationship with creativity and innovation. He has created apps for Ferrari and Nissan, and was asked to speak at InsideAR about the potential of augmented reality. Leigh is committed, client-focused and a natural leader. His ideas are constantly fresh, relevant and astute.
After completing his degree in Visual Communication at UWS, Matt was selected to study at the prestigious industry-run Tractor design college in Sydney. Coming from a design and photography background Matt developed his 3D animation and live graphics further and hasn’t looked back. Matt continues to evolve as an art director and team leader.
As DD8’s Design Director, Kelsey manifests a unique blend of conceptual and technical skills. Kelsey's award-winning background in both motion design and compositing, paired with his highly perceptive nature, see him direct strategic design projects with ease. Fast evolving into an intuitive design strategist and innovator, Kelsey is currently following the path of UX and immersive media interaction design whilst undergoing a course in Design for VR.
When Daniel won gold at Promax for Best Original Logo Design in 2015 he already knew he’d made the right decision in studying Vis Com at UTS and following his passion to become a motion designer and animator. Daniel’s versatile skill set and background consists of broadcast motion design and art direction (Network Ten) and he is excited by DD8’s offerings and to expand to all areas of branding design. With a heart to match his 6’6” frame, Dan is a true collaborator who loves to share his skills, ideas and enthusiasm with all team members.
With ten years of experience in the creative field and no intention of stopping there, Chris is well-versed in both 2D and 3D motion graphics. Having worked as a senior designer with the likes of FOX and Mediacorp and mentor to their junior designers, Chris has now joined DD8’s ranks as an Art Director. Chris is well armed with the knowledge to lead our Singapore team towards captivating audiences within our region.
Jaycen comes to DD8 from FOX SPORTS Singapore where he was an integral part of the broadcast team that adopted a VIZrt based graphics network. With design, data integration and operational experience on Chyron, Orad and VIZrt, Jaycen has valuable experience in live and non-live studio productions, as well as outside broadcasts. Jaycen is part of our expanding DD8 family working out of our Singapore office.
Hailing from sunny Singapore, En Wei is an experienced 2D animator and illustrator, having designed and animated characters for the ZooMoo channel during her time at Beach House Pictures. Having decided to broaden her skills through motion graphics En Wei has freshly graduated from 3dsense Media School as a top student in her class. As she dives back into the design world, what better place to swim than our DD8 Singapore office.
